World’s fastest skip car can reach 155mph

Not bad for a load of old rubbish! Petrol heads have created the world’s fastest SKIP – which can reach whopping speeds in excess of 155mph.

James Norvill owns the crackers car – which wouldn’t look out of place in Wacky Races – and it took him six weeks to build.

The motor cost 32-year-old James £15,000 to build, which meant attaching an eight yard builders skip to the base of a Subaru Impreza WRX Type R.

With its 2000CC 300BHP engine under the bonnet, the skipcar has rubbished the land record speed for a waste disposal vehicle.
