Under raps! Couple create hilarious parody to announce pregnancy
A couple came up with a hilarious parody of a chart-topping rap song to announce to their family and friends they were expecting their first baby.
It took, Mikhail McLean and his wife, Arrion McLean, both 26, an hour to come up with the lyrics for the parody of Number one hit, Gods Plan, by rapper Drake, at their home in Houston, Texas.
Arrion, who is 25 weeks pregnant and expected in September, came up with the creative idea and collaborated with her husband and sister, Kelly, to come up with the revised lyrics.
Arrion said: “We googled some fun ideas and added our personal creative twist.
“It took a little over an hour to come up with the lyrics and took about two weeks for the video.
“We both really enjoyed doing it. It was a lot of fun and laughed a lot.
“We told our close and intimate friends a few weeks before but almost everyone found out via the video.
“We have had great reactions, all my students shared it in school and talked about it.
“Mikhail’s family back in the Bahamas shared it everywhere and his friends and coworkers sing the lyrics occasionally.
“We also did a gender reveal a few weeks ago and found out that we are having a boy. His name will be Mikhail McLean Jr. aka ‘MJ’.”
