Something borrowed, something bruised! Hilarious snaps capture moment shocked bride is dropped by clumsy groomsmen during wedding photoshoot

An embarrassed bride has revealed the moment she was dramatically DROPPED by her new husband and clumsy groomsmen on her wedding day in a series of hilarious snaps.

Mum-of-two Brooke Booth-Hunt, 28, from Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia, had no idea just how memorable her wedding gallery would be after she decided to pose for the pictures to commemorate her special day.

After finally tying the knot with the love of her life Edward Booth-Hunt, 28, the radiant bride was more than happy to strike the horizontal pose  – but never imagined she would end up flat on the grass in her wedding gown when they ‘let her go’ afterwards.

The photo sequence captures the moment a mortified Brooke is tipped to the floor and left lying on the ground by Edward and his laughing groomsmen, who were all snapped laughing and wearing shocked expressions.

The ceremony was held at a family friend’s house in Temora, New South Wales, in March 2013 – with the hilarious viral snaps shared on social media for the first time last month.

Brooke said: “We were getting our photographs taken and our photographs suggested the boys hold me up for a photo.

“They were even joking about pretending to drop me for a funny photo while they were holding me.

“I just laughed it off and we took some great pictures. It was a lot of fun.

“But then when we were finished it didn’t quite go to plan. The next thing I knew, I was on the ground.

“As you can see in the photo, all the boys were full of concern for my wellbeing.

“We were all in hysterics. Fortunately I wasn’t hurt, but I couldn’t stop laughing.”

The ‘unforgettable’ wedding was hosted at family friend Sharon O’Rafferty’s garden at her property in rural New South Wales.

The 48-year-old preschool director was the person who snapped the hilarious mishap on her camera as it happened – and said the photographs just added to the ‘overall humour and charm’ of the day.

Sharon said: “We were all out on the grassy area taking pictures as it seemed like the perfect location.

“The boys lifted the bride up to have a picture. But as they put her down they all just let go at the same time.

“She went plunk, straight on the grass.

“It was such a shock, but she wasn’t hurt thank God. Everyone just cracked up laughing.

“The last thing you want to see is a bride on the ground on her wedding day.

“We were all worried that her wedding dress would get all dirty, but it seemed fine.

“She took it in her stride. She is very easy going and didn’t let it worry her at all.

“Everyone had a good chuckle and it added to the humour and charm of the day.”
