Meow’s about another holiday? Adorable globe-trotting kitties snapped travelling the world
Cats aren’t well known for their fondness of international travel – but these adorable kitties from Japan have become global jet-setters.
Daisuke Nagasawa, 49, has spent the last few years taking his two faithful moggies, Daikichi and Fuku-chan, across the world with him.
The CEO of a tech company in Japan, Daisuke has taken the cats to all 47 prefectures across the country, photographing his two furry friends in some of the location’s most iconic landmarks.
He said that he began to take his cats on trips across Japan after Daikichi, who is originally a stray cat, began to become upset during his long absences on business trips.
According to Daisuke, his upset cat soon became a major problem as cat-sitters started to phone him, saying he needed to come and collect his furry companion he was becoming aggressive.
In the end he realised it wasn’t worth the hassle so he started to take the pair around the country with him.
But then Daisuke began to think about how he could bring his two cats even further into his life.
So, he decided to make tabby Daikichi, 13, a general manager and ginger Fuku-chan, seven, company secretary of his own business.
Today, as always, the general manager Daikichi and the secretary Fuku-chan commute to work in a chauffeured baby stroller; their form of a company limousine.
Daisuke said: “I started travelling with the kids around seven years ago.
“Their popularity started in May 2017 when we were featured online.
“We have visited more than 1,000 regions in all 47 prefectures in Japan.”
