Summer bummer! Fake tan obsessed woman left Adidas ‘tan line’ on leg in hilarious mishap

A beautician was left horrified when her tanning blunder left her with ‘Adidas’ branded into her leg.

Kimberley Davis, 36, was shocked when she went to wash off her fake tan to find the sports logo of the leggings she had worn to the gym had been imprinted into her leg – two tones darker than the rest of her body.

After applying overnight fake tan Kimberley woke up to a shocking surprise when she realized the Adidas logo from her gym leggings had stamped onto her leg.

In a sheer panic, Kimberley, from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, rapidly applied more fake tan.

However, despite her immediate action the logo still remained printed in her leg, leaving her no other choice but to wear trousers in the sweltering temperatures.

Kimberley said: “I knew that the weather was looking great for the next few days so I decided to buy some extra dark fake tan mousse.

“I applied it, as usual, the night before but ran out of time in the morning to wash it off, so quickly headed to the gym.

“When I got home and went to wash the tan off I saw that the tan was darker in parts, and pelt out ‘adidas’.

“I tried as hard as I could to get it off, but it just wouldn’t budge, so now I’m stuck in long trousers in this boiling weather!”

Despite her best effort in piling on more fake tan, Kimberley admits that it was too late and the damage was already done.

She said: “I tried to cover up the logo as best as I could with more tan, but I can still faintly see the outline so I’ll have to stick to trousers.

“I might wear a dress around town, but the logo is so obvious that it’s likely that people will recognize it.

“I don’t know what happened, whether it was the fact I was hot and working out that made it darker in those parts, or that the materials didn’t mix together.

“But for now I’m just going to keep on applying more tan and hope for the best.”

Although her blunder has left her branded as a true sports fanatic, Kimberley’s friends and family have definitely seen the funny side.

She said: “I think of myself as a dumb blonde, so my friends and family expected nothing less from me.

“Despite being a beautician, I obviously didn’t read the instructions properly.

“Everyone who has seen the photo has found it hilarious and can’t believe that I have to walk around like this.

“Even sharing it on social media I’ve had strangers laughing at what’s happened – I just hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else now!”
