Paedophile’s ex-wife selling off his Star Trek replica flat

The former wife of a convicted paedophile is putting his prized Star Trek flat on the market.

Georgina Alleyne was given the property as part of her divorce settlement with her ex-husband, Tony Alleyne, who was jailed in 2013 for distributing thousands of child porn images.

Alleyne spent more than a decade painstakingly transforming his flat in Hinckley, Leicestershire, into a replica of a spaceship from the TV show – a move that prompted Ms Alleyne to leave him in 1995.

The sci fi fanatic, who appeared on reality programmes including ITV’s May The Best House Win, spent thousands of pounds installing features including a set of ‘transformers’ and a flight deck.

The doorbell even ‘rings’ with a soundbite of Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

The flat has been empty since 2013, when Alleyne was jailed for 34 months after police discovered a ‘massive’ collection of more than 5,000 pornographic pictures involving babies, children and animals.

Ms Alleyne is now selling off the studio flat because she is ready for a ‘fresh start’.

Offers in the region of £70,000 will be considered, but buyers must be able to pay up front as the unusual decor means the property is not mortgageable.

In a statement released today, estate agent Marine Barraud, said: ‘She is now divorced and estimates that it is time for her to put this flat and her ex-husband project behind her.

‘She doesn’t want to be reminded about her past and is looking forward to turn the next page in her life.’

The flat does not offer an oven, fridge or bed, but does come with a microwave, sofa and voice-activated lights.

The listing from estate agents Hope Estates reads: ‘The opportunity of buying this unique and extraordinary Star Trek Voyager Flat replica has arisen!

‘Step in to the Voyager and let your imagination do the rest. This unique property has been custom made by a real Star Trek fanatic.

‘You won’t find any other property like this one, this is truly unique, don’t miss it!

‘You will find all of the smallest details from the movie franchise. You will have your own Transporter with the main commands control at the heart of this wonderful living space.’

Ms Barraud added: ‘The type of buyer who would be interested in purchasing this flat would be a Star Trek fanatic or a movie studio.’
