Let it go! Dynamic duo add a touch of frost to create their very own Frozen-themed car
Two innovative Swedes have created their very own Frozen-themed car raising thousands for charity.
Kristian Ek and Niklas Sahlin, both 29, from Ronneby, Sweden, started out on their icy cool re-design project in August 2014 and now they’re reaping the rewards.
Kristian works as a chef and Niklas is a mental health worker but their real passion is for cars.
They re-designed their first car in 2008, a 1998 BMW E36, but they’ve really gone for it with their latest project, by adding a touch of frost to Kristian’s BMW E46.
Niklas said: “We chose the Frozen theme because of the awesome colours in the movie.
“The car looks amazing with all the variations of bright colour.
“When we started to build it, we said to each other that we have to do something good with this car.
“Kristian came up with the idea to collect money for cancer foundations in Sweden and we’ve not looked back since.
“So far we’ve raised 20,000 kroner which equates to nearly £2,000. Our target is 50,000 kroner.”
The pair adapted the backseat with a subwoofer box and 2 LCD monitors and rebuilt the head panel to hold an iPad 2.
The doors were also rebuilt to hold speakers and 1 monitor each while the seats have been redressed with a Frozen theme.
They installed two reindeer skins and they re-designed the exterior of the vehicle with a front and rear spoiler.
Both the interior and the exterior of the car has been airbrushed, with an alpine white base.
They also painted and airbrushed the inside of the headlights and even put glow-in-the-dark paint on the wheels.
