Amateur photographer captures creepy face eerily similar to lord Voldemort in firework display
The face of Lord Voldemort has been spotted in a firework display by an amateur photographer – who has never seen Harry Potter.
Muggles in Plymouth, Devon, were left stunned after He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named appeared at the British Fireworks Championships on Wednesday night.
Trevor James, 50, captured the scary skull-like visage after he Potter-ed down to photograph the colourful explosions at Cattedown Wharves.
The keen snapper, an oil refinery worker by day, didn’t notice the wizardly shape until he checked his pictures at home.
He said: “Funnily enough, I’ve never seen Harry Potter in my life.
“I was shocked when I looked at my pictures and saw this creepy face.
“I showed it to a couple of people and they mentioned it looked a bit like Lord Voldemort.”
Trevor had set his camera to quick-fire mode, which allowed him to capture the formation of the face before it disappeared into the Devon night sky.
J.K. Rowling’s series of seven books about the boy wizard have sold more than 450million copies worldwide and the films have grossed almost £5billion ($7.7billion) globally.
