Adorable underwater babies caught on camera for new parents
By Mikey Jones
Dozens of underwater babies have been caught on camera in a series of adorable photos.
Underwater photographer and mum, Lucy Ray, 38, came up with a unique idea to share with new parents.
From mermaid tails to shark infested waters, Lucy uses an array of props to capture a number of mesmerising expressions.
Sheffield-based Lucy, of Starfish Underwater Photography, said: “I really like being underwater as it’s so peaceful.
“Now I have a child of my own it’s really the only peace I get.
“People often ask if the photos are actually underwater.
“Although the babies look like they’re free swimming, they are only underwater for a few seconds.
“All the babies and children practice submersion in lesson before they attend a photo shoot.
“They are unique mementos of your baby, when they first learnt to swim.”
