Sisters born with a rare almost always fatal condition that meant they shared the same blood have made a TWINCREDIBLE recovery. Bessie and Hattie Smith spent 17 weeks fighting for their lives in hospital after being diagnosed with twin-to-twin syndrome (TTTS). The condition – which can be fatal in 60 to 100 percent of cases – meant one twin had to much blood and the other had too little.
