Food artist creates tribute to late Lynda Bellingham out of Oxo Cubes
A talented food artist has created a stunning portrait of the late Lynda Bellingham, entirely out of OXO CUBES.
Nathan Wyburn, 25, from Abergavenny, Wales, has created an artistic tribute to Lynda, who starred in the Oxo Cube adverts for more than 15 years.
Lydna tragically lost her battle with cancer last week, but Nathan decided to commemorate Lynda with a piece of art work.
Nathan specialises in creating celebrity culture using food, and household items as his chosen medium.
Nathan managed to create the fabulous tribute to Lynda in just two hours, by painting onto canvas by using beef Oxo Cubes mixed with water.
Nathan said: “I wanted to create a fitting and respectful tribute to Lynda, and thought it was only appropriate to use Oxo Cubes.”
Other pieces of work by Nathan include portraits of Kate and Wills made out of crackers, and Joey Essex and Katie Price out of fake tan.
Nathan said:”The work was great fun to create. I love using food as an art medium, there’s so many colours, textures and even smells that make the portraits quite unique.”
