Amazing artists camouflages himself himself to blend into whatever background he wants
Good luck trying to find the artist in this photo! This artwork has a personal touch for the man who created it after he painted himself into every scene.
But finding Liu Bolin, 42, from Shandong province, China, is harder than most wold expect, as he is perfectly painted into the background.
Liu, who has a masters degree in fine arts, has had his work exhibited in museums around the world and is even known as “the invisible man”.
The nickname was earned after Liu used a technique of painting himself into the backgrounds of his work so thoroughly, he was almost invisible to the naked eye.
He belongs to the generation that came of age in the early 1990s, when China emerged from its cultural revolution and was beginning to enjoy rapid economic growth and relative political stability.
He now lives and works in Beijing, China.
