Can you spot the wildlife hiding in these images? At first glance these images look like ordinary landscapes but take a closer look and you’ll find there’s more to them than meets the eye.

Hidden amongst rocky mountains, lush green leaves or African landscapes are some of nature’s masters of disguise who are almost impossible to spot as they blend seamlessly with their surroundings.

From a frog or a seahorse to a lion and a snake, with their clever camouflage these animals know how to keep you guessing, as they invite you to play nature’s version of the game Where’s Wally.

One of clever photographs shows a leopard staring straight into the camera, yet it is so well camouflaged even the photographer needed some help from a friend.

Another image captures an ingenious insect mimicking a leaf, making it almost impossible to spot.

This wonderful collection of images showcases animal’s natural ability to blend into its surroundings to avoid being spotted by predators and ultimately eaten.

Photographer Villiers Steyn, 34, captured one of these clever images of a hidden leopard, he said: “My friend spotted the leopard first, I have no idea how, so we all had to be helped to find it.”

Yuwaraj Gurjar, 46, was lucky enough to capture a praying mantis showcasing it’s mimicry skills.

He said: “Camouflage is very important for the praying mantis’ survival because they have so many enemies such as birds, therefore they must blend in with their habitat to avoid being eaten”
