This stunning emerald damselfly appears to be playing hide and seek with the photographer.
Kutub Uddin, 30, caught the stunning creature hiding behind a blade of grass at Pulborough Brooks RSPB in West Sussex.
The damselfly’s name has taken inspiration from its vibrant colouring, and is one of the largest of its kind.
Kutub, a keen photographer, said: “The damselfly definitely looks like it wanted to play hide and seek.”
