Luckily, there were no Jaws horror scene moments – despite tiger sharks having the reputation for being an aggressive species.

Instead, one shark can be seen trying to have a feel of the camera in the blue waters while another enjoys a belly rub and third glides lazily along – making for some beautiful underwater shots.

Dave Baker, from St Neots, Cambs, is a London black cab driver but has a strong passion for underwater photography.

He said: “I’d had many encounters with sharks while diving, but always at a distance and they always disappeared pretty quick once they saw you.

“This was a great trip and a real eye opener into the behaviour of sharks.

“Because of films such as Jaws and headlines about killer man-eating sharks, they really do suffer a bad reputation.

“To see them like this and be able to show others that they are far from the image portrayed was a real privilege.”
