Pee – wee pooch could be the smallest in Britain

This pee-wee pooch is staking a claim to be crowned Britain’s SMALLEST dog.

Belle, a miniature Yorkshire terrier, measured in at just two inches tall at the age of six weeks.

The micro pup – who weighs 158g – was also shorter than a half-pint carton of milk.

Cute Belle’s name is a shortened version of the pocket-size fairy Tinker Bell.

Owner Karenza Cruse confirmed the pup was the only surviving member from a litter of four.

Karenza, from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, cared for the pup after Belle’s mum Darcy rejected her.

Some nights, Karenza, 34, would have to feed Belle every night.

She said: “Belle is adorable – her personality is starting to show through and I think she’s going to be a bit of a diva.

“She loves to be held and squeaks until you pick her up and even knows to go to the kitchen when she’s hungry.

“She also knows when I’m coming in the door as she comes running with her tiny tail wagging.

“Every little thing that she does is just adorable.”
