Now that’s what you call a bear hug! Adorable moment two young polar bears are captured on camera giving each other a proper bear hug

Now that’s what you call a bear hug! This is the adorable moment two young polar bears were captured on camera giving each other a cuddle.

The two bears had been play fighting for hours in sub-zero temperatures in Manitoba, Canada, before they were spotted sharing a warm embrace.

And while one bear looks as though he might be going in to attack the other, he eventually buries his face in his friend’s furry neck, while draping his arms around his shoulders.

Canadian photographer Robert Postma, 43, was lucky enough to capture the heart-warming moment on camera.

Robert said: “These particular bears were play fighting on and off for about five hours.

“One would get up from resting, go over to the other and begin nipping at him and then the battle was on.

“After wrestling for around 10 minutes, they would both lay down and relax until the next round, which was usually about 30 minutes later.

“I was there taking photos for five days, and they went through the same ritual every day.

“I visit the area every year taking pictures of the bears, but I never tire of watching this humbling spectacle of sheer power.”
