Is this the happiest dog in the world? Grinning pooch constantly wears massive smile
Meet Cinnamon the smiling Shiba who constantly wears a massive grin on her face.
Whether lying on a bed covered in a tower of pillows or visiting the dreaded vet, the cheerful canine sports an evergreen ear-to-ear smile.
With her big tongue lolling out of her mouth and wide, bright eyes, 11-year-old Cinnamon couldn’t look more pleased.
Combined with her fluffy face, the sunny Shiba cuts a happy figure as she dosses around her New York apartment.
Because of her sunny disposition, owners Andrew, 28, and Ashley, 27, are constantly being stopped in the street by passers-by.
Entertainment attorney Andrew said: “The amount of attention Cinnamon gets is overwhelming.
“Everyone stops us commenting on her grin.
“I like to say she looks like a clown because of her big, wide smile.”
Andrew got Cinnamon in March 2004, when she was just six-months-old, and he has had her ever since.
When Andrew and Ashley tie the knot on July 4, their devoted doggy is even going to act as their flower girl.
Andrew said: “There is nothing Cinnamon loves more than being around me and Ashley.
“When we’re sat watching TV, she’ll cry on the other side of the room until one of us picks her up and puts her in between us and rub her belly.
“All she has to do is give us a look and we run over to her.
“It’s impossible to say no to her face.
“She’s such a big baby.
“She makes it known that she wants to be coddled 24/7.”
Despite suffering with both glaucoma and Cushing’s disease, nothing seems to make Cinnamon unhappy, apart from being left home alone.
Andrew said: “She doesn’t wreck things or make a mess, we’re pretty sure she just sleeps whenever she’s alone.
“But the minute the door opens, we hear Cinnamon talking – somewhere between a cry and a bark – somewhere in the apartment out of excitement to see us.
“Once she actually sees us, she finally gets her lazy butt up (while still talking) and will run over and attack us both with kisses.”
