Barry the Bedlington terrier became an internet sensation after learning to ride a tricycle, but now he’s hit the road in a range of classic cars!

These fantastic images show three year old Barry’s transition from riding three wheels to four, in spectacular style too.

Not just driving any old car, he chooses to travel in style in an open top Rolls Royce. Even though a miniature version, Barry is still the coolest dog on the street.

His owners Wayne Sowerby and Kat Hayllar, from Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, started him out riding skateboards when he was a puppy.

He had then graduated to riding a tricycle with his owners pushing him along before he was allowed to do his riding alone.

But now, Barry has taken his passion for riding bikes and cars to the next level.

Wayne said: “He is such a character, he is always riding round on his trike or in his car.

“All the neighbours and family ask after him, and when he is in the street he just gets stopped all the time!

“To be honest, me and Kate see it as the norm now, so I guess we don’t appreciate it as much as we should, but of course we still find it funny.

His balance must be second to none as he poses with his front paws on the wheel while sat on the seat.

Hilariously, during the video, he even knows that he must wait for the car to stop outside his house, until he gets out.

Wayne added: “Kate and I come up with all the ideas between us, but we haven’t got a clue what to do next. But it could be absolutely anything, he’s so easy going.”
