Chunky but monkey! These chubby critters have already given up on their New Year’s resolutions

By Jamie Smith

These chubby critters have clearly already given up on their new year’s resolutions.

Despite the determination to start 2019 healthier, the animals featured in this gallery put the great in all creatures great and small.

From an overweight gorilla giving the figure to anyone who mentions his protruding belly to a happily portly Golden Retriever and a rotund seal reaching for its next snap, all the beasts pictured are sure to make anyone struggling to keep their January vows feel a little bit better.
