Blue Planet, too: photographer snaps stunning images of the deep that would be right at home on the hit doc
This photographer’s work would be right at home on the hit documentary Blue Planet 2, as he searches the deep to shoot stunning creatures.
Against their predominantly black backdrops, Ace Wu’s breathtaking shots glow with incredible vibrancy.
In one, a fearsome fish glares at the camera with rows and rows of sharp teeth showing, while, in another, transparent octopus looks like an alien creature of sorts.

“It is also difficult for most people living on land to understand the differences of the marine animals.”
In order to bring the beauty of marine life to the general public, Ace has travelled to the likes of the Philippines, Indonesia and Fiji.

The biggest challenge, he said, is making sure that there is a good source of light, as the pitch black conditions underwater make photographing creatures at such depths very difficult.
