Best friends for life – Baby and Bunny share close relationship
These two are best friends for life! While most babies would share their cot with stuffed toys, this tot has got four your bunnies to play with.
Finn Bonnice, a three-month-old, from Pennsylvania, USA, can be seen having a lark with Lucy, one, and Leo, Opal and Tulip, all five months old, while proud mum Lindsey, 30, looks on.
Because Finn has been around the rabbits from a very early age, both he and his furry companions are completely at ease with each other and Finn can often be found giggling as they clamber over his stomach.
Lindsey hopes that as both Finn and the rabbits grow older they will develop a strong bond – until then they’re content to be the most adorable pairing on the play mat.
Lindsey said: “I get so much joy seeing my children and animals play together and just seeing the kids’ faces light up every time they watch the animals playing and interacting with them.
“It’s just happy and joy at its base – simple, sweet and pure
“I think teaching your children to love and care for animals is such an important part of growing up, it teaches them compassion and responsibility.
“It even helps with building relationships and how to be kind and loving.
“Since Finn is so young he and the bunnies don’t share the same kind of relationship as most animals and children but when I put the bunnies down to play they always go over and check Finn out, sniffing him and sometimes jumping on his belly.
“Finn loves watching them and reaching for them! I’m sure as he gets older they will become best buddies.”
