A New Demon Bat Species

A new ‘demon’ bat species known for its fierce protective behaviour has been discovered in a remote part of Vietnam. The demonic-looking creature aptly named Murina Beelzebub was found by a team of scientists in southern Indochina. The researchers, from the Hungarian Natural History Museum and Fauna and Flora International, also discovered two other new species which have been dubbed Murina Cineracea and Murina Walstoni.
