Young paragliding daredevil
This little girl loves to do a little PARA-GLOATING – as she soars above the clouds with her dad.
Little daredevil Emilia often shouts ‘hey, we’re higher than you’ to other paragliders as she flies as high as possible with her father Mik.
She also doubles as a handy camerawoman, filming their flights under bright blue skies.
The pair often paraglide at the Brauneck mountain, the nearest place to their family home in Lenggries, Germany.
Mik, 51, has been paragliding for 27 years, and started taking seven-year-old Emilia with him four years ago.
He said: “Emilia and her little sister Lusisa love paragliding. Both have grown up with the sport and you can see always see paragliders right about our house.
“Emilia has already asked when she can paraglide solo, but she’s going to have to wait until she’s 14. Hopefully she’ll still be interested by then, but who knows?
“She loves the take-off and wingovers and spirals are her favourite action manoeuvres.
“She also loves to shout to other pilots, when we have a better climbing rate, ‘hey, we’re higher than you’.”
Emilia also enjoys other extreme outdoor sports, such as mountain biking, climbing, skiing, and hiking.
