Shrouded in fog, Dubai’s skyline of skyscrapers look like islands poking from a sea of mist.

The photos, which were taken by Zohaib Anjum, 29, from Dubai, were taking from the MBK tower during a fog and thunderstorm alert.

While it is hard to get high up to take the best photos in Dubai, Zohaib benefitted from his job as an estate agent so he could take photos of his properties and the amazing backdrop at the same time.

Zohaib said: “Working as an estate agent, I was able to go to places that most people wouldn’t be able to access, so I took full advantage of that and set up a time-lapse.

“The fog is special in Dubai as it causes the streets to glow in so many colours. It’s such a great experience being stood above it.

“Dubai is the best place to shoot cityscapes as we have so many high-rise towers here to shoot.”
