The incredible pictures were taken in the USE desert, in an area called Al Qua’a near Abu Dhabi, by landscape photographer Sebastian Tontsch.

Sebastian, 27, from Dubai, said: “It’s an empty desert with no light pollution – it’s one of the darkest spots in the UAE.

“It can be hard to get good shots of the Milky Way when there’s light pollution, so it’s a good spot to get a picture.
