These luxury homes bring a much better meaning to sleeping with the fishes.

The Floating Seahorse is the world’s first luxury underwater home – with en-suite bedrooms hidden beneath the waves.

The incredible three-story holiday pads, which cost up to £2.2million each, also come with floor-to-ceiling windows to give guests the best views of the surrounding water and wildlife.

A total of 125 Floating Seahorse villas will form a unique holiday destination as part of a man-made archipelago, called ‘The Heart of Europe,’ just two miles off the coast of Dubai.

Senior architect Marco Bolzoni said: “We worked tirelessly to make sure that the floating Seahorse was everything we imagined it to be. Over 5,000 hours spent in research and development and engineering. We were committed to delivering excellence.”

The smaller design, a 3,100 square foot one-bedroom property, comes decorated to match either a modern superyacht or the grandeur of imperial Russia.

The larger, 4,004 square foot design has two en-suite bedrooms below the water and enough space to sleep eight adults and eight children. A luxury Bentley Home edition is modelled on the interior of Bentley cars.

The submerged bedrooms are surrounded by coral gardens to attract exotic wildlife.

The second floor at sea level has an open-plan layout with a kitchen, living and dining room and a bathroom. There is also a large deck for relaxing with a ladder for entering the water.

The top floor features a glass-bottom hot tub, a relaxation area, a shower and a minibar. Some of the space can be converted into an outdoor bedroom.

The first phase of the Floating Seahorse is set to be delivered in 2018.
