Red arrow jets leave vibrant colour trails against moody grey sky
These dramatic photographs capture the vibrant colour trails left by RedArrowjets against a moody grey sky.
Greenkeeper Darren Skinner, 33, snapped the stunning pictures of the Hawk Fighter planes at the Scottish and International Air Show in Ayr, Scotland, on Saturday.
The part-time photographer travelled from his home in Inverness specifically to photograph the planes and was delighted to catch them in action.
Darren said: “My pictures show the RedArrows performing over a dark and moody sky – I think the colours and coordination of them is incredible.
“We travelled down especially for the air show as I love planes, the pilots are highly trained and skilled.
“This was my first time at an air show, and definitely won’t be my last.”
