Photographer launches boiling water over her head in freezing temperatures to capture stunning frozen vapour clouds
These stunning images capture the moment a woman launched boiling water into the air as temperatures plummeted to below -30C.
Photographer Marie-Claude Paquette from Sainte-Agathe in Quebec, Canada, usually snaps animals and landscapes but decided to experiment with the water in freezing temperatures last month.
Marie-Claude, 44, planned to simply take the shots of the frozen vapour clouds but her model daughter got cold feet at the last minute.
She said: “The idea was to photograph my daughter but she was afraid of getting soaked.
“Instead I had to fix all the settings and, at the same time, be both the model and photographer.”
