Netherland’s gorgeous purple landscape in morning mist
You can almost smell the lavender there is so much of the flower blanketing the beautiful Dutch landscapes in a sea of purple.
Dutch landscape photographer, animator and lecturer, Albert Dros, 31 is on a mission to prove his homeland has far more beauty than some would have it.
It would be hard to argue with the man who has captured the hills of The Posbank in Rheden and the fields of Hilversum in such breathtaking Netherlands landscapes.
Albert said: “I respect and admire the beauty of nature around me and want to show my country to the world.
“I want to give the message that beautiful landscapes and scenery do not always need to be far away.
“These places are majestic, especially in the morning when the mist covers the ground. Sometimes you just have to walk around without taking some photos and let the scenery sink in.
“It’s an amazing feeling when it’s totally quiet and only the sound of wildlife surrounds you.
“You get to think everything is normal around you because you’ve lived there your entire life.
“But try to see beauty, in your own country perhaps even right by your home.”
