Incredible photographs of Iceland from above leave viewers confusing the country for abstract art
An incredible set of photographs of Iceland from above have left viewers confusing the country for abstract art.
Florian Ledoux, 28, captured the rare birds-eye photographs of the country, but wasn’t expecting people to be confused as to what the photos show.
Depicting the hills, water and craters of Iceland, the photographs appear to look as though they are unique, abstract pieces of art.
Florian said: “People often wonder what the photographs are at first – and they say it looks totally abstract, like a painting.
“Every time I fly above a place like Iceland, I can’t believe it – the lines, the patterns, I think nature is a master piece.
“Most of the photos show the wild and deserted inland of Iceland, which is a dramatic place where volcanos meet glaciers.
“I wanted to bring a new point of view on places already well known and documents and creating something new is one of my motivations.”
