Incredible fluffy jets above clouds in Shropshire

These incredible images show the moment a state-of-the-art jet fighter smashed through the clouds above Shropshire.

Taken at the world-famous Cosford Air Show, the F16 can be seen punching its way through the air.

An iconinc Lancaster Bomber from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight as well as Eurofighter Typhoon also took to the sky in its regal glory.

The images were captured by Dave Grubb, 59, from Claines in North Worcester.

He said: “Cosford is my local show which always offers a variety of aircraft on the flying programme so I find a visit is well worth while.”

“Fast jest are probably my favourite due to their dynamic displays generating the afterburner & vapour effects as on the F16 photo.

“This is caused by humid air entering a low pressure area over the flying surfaces, this reduces the density & temperature generating visible condensation during high G turns & climbs which may only last a few milliseconds so the challenge is to predict this and hopefully capture it.”
