Drone pilot scales city heights for footage

A drone pilot pulled off a stunt not even remotely safe – after flying a drone atop a skyscraper.

German explorer Andrej Ciesielski, from Munich, managed to scale 118 Connaught Road West in Hong Kong’s Sheung Wan district.
Once there, the 19-year-old took stunning clear photos and drone footage of the city and bay stretched out 162 metres below.

However, he and his friend James Sight were caught on the way back down before being released by police.

Andrej said: “I had visited Hong Kong already and for me it’s just the perfect city for climbing.
“I have been caught in Japan and so I decided to go to Hong Kong again because normally the police just check your ID and let you go.

“When we got to the roof we were spotted by security but we really wanted to shoot this video, especially as the drone was organised.

“So we just started climbing.
