PIC BY JASSEN TODOROV / CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED: Crater Lake National Park, Oregon photographed from the air by Jassen Todorov.) - These stunning photographs show just some of the craters across America. The breathtaking pics - taken by Jassen Todorov - span six states including California, Washington and Idaho. Some craters are still active, like the Halemaumau Crater in Hawaii which even has a lava lake. The challenging project took Jassen, 40, over a year to complete - and involved several trips up and down America. The Professor of Music at San Francisco State University also visited Mt. Rainier in Washington - one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the WORLD - and a chain of craters and lava flows in Mono County, Eastern California. SEE CATERS COPY.
