This is the heart-stopping moment the fearless divers swam down to the sea bed to explore an old shipwreck – surrounded by circling sharks.
The amazing pictures were taken by Korean-born underwater photographer Lia Barrett, at Stuart Cove off the coast of the Bahamas.

Lia, 32, from North Carolina, USA, said: “The sharks sometimes get a bit curious – but often they couldn’t care less that we’re there!
“You’re more likely to get killed by a vending machine than a shark.
