Incredible snaps of daredevil divers swimming with Sharks
These incredible snaps of daredevil divers swimming with SHARKS in nothing but bikinis and t-shirts will make you feel nervous.
This is the heart-stopping moment the fearless divers swam down to the sea bed to explore an old shipwreck – surrounded by circling sharks.
The amazing pictures were taken by Korean-born underwater photographer Lia Barrett, at Stuart Cove off the coast of the Bahamas.
Lia, 32, from North Carolina, USA, said: “The sharks sometimes get a bit curious – but often they couldn’t care less that we’re there!
“You’re more likely to get killed by a vending machine than a shark.
“The point of my shots is to make people question human abilities and scary animals.
“I enjoy creating images that people have to question – how is that made? Is that real? Aren’t they going to get eaten?
“It helps to engage people in discussions about conservation.
“My goal ultimately is to acquaint people with the ocean environment who would otherwise have prejudices towards such a vast, and seemingly ominous, space.
“I want to present a world that is incredibly stunning, ever changing, and filled with some of the most beautiful creatures on earth.”
