MAN WITH BIONIC HAND
Michael Swainger has become the first in the UK to be fitted with a bionic hand on the NHS after losing his arm in a train accident. Michael was just 13 when he lost his right arm and leg after being hit by a train as he played with friends near a railway track in east Hull in 1992. Michael has been picked as the first person to receive the UK's most advanced medical technology.
