TRANSIT OF VENUS
The transit of Venus taken from Burton Dassett between Stratford Upon Avon and Banbury) - Venus has made a spectacular transit across the sun in a rare event that won't be witnessed again for over a hundred years. The phenomenon is so rare the next transit won't happen again for another 105 years until 2117. The transit happens in couples, eight years apart. This means there will also be a transit in 2125. Venus, the second planet from the sun, appeared as a small black disc.
