These hilarious photos taken in the Madagascar Berenty nature reserve, show a pack a lemurs practicing there martial art skills. The brilliant snaps were taken by Dutch photographer Paul van Hoof, who flew out to the island last year. Paul spent a whole week in the reserve waiting patiently for the golden opportunity to snap the Kung Fu critters.

A British mountain biker has beaten to rest of the European to be crowned the winner of a snow riding competition with a never-before-seen stunt. Sam Reynolds won 5,000 euros (4,150 pounds) taking the title at the Monster Energy White Style event in Leogang, Austria, on Friday last week. The finals that took place under floodlights and 2,500 spectators with Sam performing double back flips, jumps and tricks to take pole position.

A woman struck down with a rare flesh eating bug that nearly killed her has made a miracle recovery. Kate White, 32, thought she had been bitten by an insect after noticing a tiny pus-filled boil appear on her left elbow.
