They might not be known as the acrobats of the animal kingdom but this is one friendly fox with a surprising spring in her step. This vigorous vixen has left more agile animals hanging their heads in shame with her impressive moves. And the adorable orphan, called Anuska, has learnt from the best, mimicking the movements of her canine chum - Sadie the Jack Russell. Anuska, now eight months old, was rescued by art teacher and photographer, Brian Bevan.

GIBBON WALKING A TIGHTROPE


Forget monkey bars this gutsy gibbon clearly prefers the trickier task of the tightrope. The funky monkey looked footloose and fancy free as it strutted it stuff on a branch in Borneo - mimicking the movements of an acrobat. The Hylobates agilis, also known as the Black-Handed Gibbon or the lesser ape, captivated tourists with its agile antics. As it sprinted skilfully back and forth across a branch, wildlife photographer Thomas Marent, captured the entire comic episode on camera.

This cheeky chappie is clearly desperate to get the SEAL of approval from at least one snapper after popping up and posing for photographers on a passing boat. The extrovert elephant seal shocked onlookers by springing into action while photographers tried to capture a group of royal penguins at Saint Andrew's Bay in South Georgia near The Falklands.

This is the grizzly moment a family of polar bears were forced to grin and bear it as they took to the skies in a dramatic ice-scape mission. The bears found themselves flying high as part of a plan to remove them from a town in Manitoba, Canada after they started annoying the neigh-bears. Polar bears around the town of Churchill usually reside on Hudson Bay for seven months of the year and come inland when the ice melts between July and November.

FOX PLAYING IN A POPPY FIELD


With the early warm weather coaxing out vibrant poppy fields all over the UK these stunning images of a rescued fox cub (pictured) enjoying the vibrant display really is Britain at its best. The striking red flowers were captured in a field in Potton, Bedfordshire, by wildlife photographer Brian Bevan. The 61-year-old art teacher captured the moment while out with his rescue fox cub, Anuska. The fox was one of a litter of nine rescued when their mother was run over.
